I focused straight at players and fired, but the system didn’t log it as a hit. A clear case—like when I nailed the final shot on Dust II in this clip: the SSG08 was perfectly aimed for the headshot... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ax8L9xeb_c

It's been happening quite often lately, really bothersome.

Varies based on server configuration and your network settings, such as cl_updaterate and cl_interp

You just finished a Deathmatch match. The hit detection was terrible. I think the issue was serious. One player kept taking headshots from far away, and I tried to shoot back but didn’t die.

That was the final scene before capturing the image. It seems your position was just a fraction off.

This claim isn't correct yet—I'll share the evidence. The cap you mentioned adjusted before I fired, resulting in a precise headshot. The bullet shown inside the black box matches the actual image. My shots come from the raw video, so I need to play it slower in my editor to clearly see where the crosshair was positioned. My reaction time is still too quick.

I needed to sketch a horizontal mark because the game’s focus blurs during movement, causing the line to vanish from the video because the aim was quickly changed. This is the final frame before I shot.

You struck the top of the CT's head. The heads on Dust 2 are larger than the impact zone. You didn't hit the target area, it was the CT's head. Still, I understand the hit rate is a bit off lately—usually it comes from your ping and the server's tick rate.
