So basically it's not playable for me. I didn't play Cod for over a week, and after getting back in, the first game I tried had severe stuttering. I realized it was using all my RAM—literally everything. I couldn't even open Alt-Tab because of the stuttering. It's running on an RTX 3070 with a Ryzen 5 3600 and dual-channel RAM, Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB. My system is pretty high-end; even Cyberpunk uses only 10GB and Cold War is devouring it all. My friend doesn't have the same issue, maybe something in Windows? I was playing with services recently, but that might be it.
I can't provide a screenshot directly. However, you can open the Resource Monitor and locate the memory tab to view it yourself.
Even in the menu settings, the storage limit is around 15gb, but during gameplay it jumps to 16gb, and it claims all the memory usage comes from the game. How could that be?
The screenshot displays the game running on 12 Gb. The additional 29 Gb includes the 12 Gb plus the virtual memory reserved for the page file.
it's in kb not gb lmao, actually it's the game I played a clean Windows install while playing Cyberpunk and it uses max 10gb cold war again 15.8gb damn what a broken game
