I thought this might be the right spot, but I've been stuck in Rust for some time. Occasionally the game disconnects, and when it does, my internet cuts out for about five seconds. Videos start buffering, the browser can't load new pages, and after roughly five seconds it seems normal again. My ISP says there are no issues, and Netgear also confirms they’re fine. I checked online and found an error message appears every time I disconnect. I have a 2700x1080 TiMi X470 motherboard with Gigabit internet and Cat6 cables, using a C7800 router. Any advice would be really helpful.

Check if other gadgets in your home stay linked when the crash happens. Determine whether the problem is limited to the device you were using for gaming or affects the entire network, which seems less likely.
