Hi everyone, the situation is clear. I’m purchasing a GTX 1080 from the USA to resell it. It includes Destiny 2, and there are two buyers: one wants just the card, the other wants the game itself. Previously, NVIDIA required a specific card to redeem the game via GeForce Experience. After reviewing the article at Ars Technica, it looks like the buyer likely needs a GTX 1080 or GTX 1080 Ti. Since Destiny 2 is currently only offered with these cards, it seems the game code will be tied to that hardware. It might not always be possible to bypass this requirement, but checking the box for the game code inside the package could help. Regarding the NVIDIA card, the buyer mentioned having one, but I’m unsure which model. The game code should be inside the box or on a disc, depending on the seller’s setup.

Are you sure you purchased something from Amazon? My brother got a GTX 1080 from Amazon that came with the NVIDIA chip and the game, but we haven’t received any keys yet.

The software will be sent apart from Newegg, and they’ll send you the key via email. I don’t know if the serial number will work because I haven’t purchased any game codes before, as I used to buy them on eBay since NVIDIA introduced this change.

Thank you for your input. I'm not sure about the cards, but I can help with your question. Would you like advice on publishing on the GPU forum?

I see, you’re using GeForce Experience and want to find a promo code from Newegg for it. First, check Newegg’s website or app for available discounts. Then, look for any codes linked to GeForce Experience promotions or bundle offers. If needed, contact their support for specific codes tied to your account.

They send the key right away once you place your order. The card was placed by your friend's uncle two days ago and hasn't been shipped yet.

Review your purchase records on NewEgg. The key is sent via a different order. Reach out to NewEgg if you don’t see the promo code email.
