Hey everyone, I just got the BO3 version on Steam and really enjoyed it. I’ve been playing it nonstop lately. But recently it started acting up and crashing every time I try to launch it—whether from the desktop, the Steam launcher, or the app in the Steam folder. Steam tries to prepare to launch but then shows a black screen as if loading. Eventually, it displays a Windows error saying "blackops3 has stopped working" and offers no real help, just letting me close the program. It’s been happening for three days now. I can’t even get into the game anymore. I even reinstalled it last night after deleting my local files through Steam, but it took over a day because of my slow internet connection. The issue still persists. Any suggestions would be appreciated—I was playing smoothly just a few days ago.

Did you check the game cache integrity? Have you refreshed your drivers? Did you add any fresh programs since the last stable build?

I checked the game cache as well—it wasn’t functioning either. I attempted this before reinstalling, and I haven’t installed any software I’m familiar with. Recently, I installed Cinebench, CrystalDisk, and 3dMark for benchmarking, but I can’t recall when they were installed relative to the issue.
