I just received NMM and around 20 mods, but my Skyrim crashes when I start it. I launched it from NMM and the SKSE shortcut. Here’s a screenshot of all my mods.

Go to the plugins tab and go by each mod 1 by 1 and check its master files. Odds are one of those are misaligned

Certainly, I can explain it in simpler terms.

Clicking the plugins section in the NMM interface displays all available mods and their modules in order, including Skyrim files in a specific sequence. Choosing a plugin shows its master files on the right, indicating which ones must load first; otherwise it will fail. For example, if File 2 depends on File 1, ensure File 1 comes before File 2 in the load order. If the order is reversed, it may cause a failure.

Only the available DLCs that are missing can be used; you shouldn't apply those mods.

When mods require the esp files and you lack them, you must either obtain the DLC or use mod versions without it. Many mods offer alternatives that don’t need DLC, though current trends favor those with it.

Sure, feel free to ask more questions. I've worked with Skyrim using around 260 mods, so I'm familiar with the process.

Have you removed your subscription from the Steam Workshop? Because you're moving away from the Steam Workshop to another modding approach for Skyrim, think about using Mod Organizer instead of NMM. This will make it easier for others to assist you since it's more widely used by active Skyrim modders.
