I just got Fallout 4 and now it won't open. It's probably mod related and I got f4se but when I open f4se it says that I'm running a newer version of Fallout 4 than what is supported and if I open just normal Fallout 4 it opens the screen goes black like it's starting then brings me back to my desk top. here is a screen shot of all my mods.

I don’t see any error messages logged yet. Reviewing previous logs might help identify the issue.

F4se isn't yet at version 1.7. Avoid the beta branch with mods, or issues may arise. Also, relocate the unofficial patch to the top of the load order. Confirm you've updated the Fallout4.ini file?

It seems the version f4SE with runtime 1.7.9 is not functioning properly. The recommended solution is to hold off and wait for an update from f4se, which could take a few days.

In Steam, select Fallout 4, click Properties, then choose Betas, and verify the dropdown is set to None.

It seems the setting was intended to be none, but it still shows a black screen. My guess is that certain mods need f4se and I don’t know which ones are active.

This version is running 1.7.9 of the game for some reason.

F4se mods aren't installed via NMM, they need to be added directly to the plugin folder. It might help checking the game on Steam. There could be a bug in the game file.
