I attempt to capture gameplay, but the FPS stays steady at 60 fps thanks to v-sync. The screen shakes and stutters when reviewing the footage. Please, let me know if you're experiencing issues with your i5 4690K, GTX 970, 8 GB RAM. It seems this has only started recently.

Checked if all the newest drivers are installed for the motherboard and GPU. Also looked at updating the BIOS.

All information is current except for the bios, I don’t want to get too involved there.

Which game is this? Does it stutter mainly during recording? Is it limited to just one title?

In GTA 4 and Call of Duty: AW Battlefield, you can subtly adjust visuals by using shaders to achieve a slight effect. In Minecraft, similar changes can be made with shaders too.

Is the same storage device being used for both recording and playback? That’s likely the problem.

Play the clip again to check for any issues. If it improves, it might not be a slow hard drive.
