I've been using this new pc for two months, mostly playing simple games like League of Legends. Recently, I attempted Cyberpunk 2077, Path of Exile, and Horizon Zero Dawn, but they all crash after about 30 minutes. I have the latest BIOS and NVIDIA drivers. Temperatures remain stable, with the GPU (RTX 3080 Galax) at 65°C and CPU at 60%. I don't know what's causing the issues. My PSU is 800W, which seems sufficient. I've tested my RAM both with DOCP on and off, but the same problems persist.
List all your parts, including PSU. Execute a userbenchmark and share the outcome link.
The hwinfo log showed the GPU running a bit underclocked, though the exact difference isn't clear. CPU and RAM were at their default settings. The userbenchmark link provided uses stock configurations including the GPU. I suspect the performance is slightly lower due to choosing "balanced mode" instead of "High Performance." I plan to test with the stock settings and share the log afterward.
My hardware includes:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
- Nvidia RTX 3080 Galax
- Asus TUF Gaming x570 Plus Wi-Fi
- DDR4 16GB 3600 G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 2x8
- 750W EVGA 220-G5-0750-X1 80p GOLD SuperNOVA
- SSD M.2 PCIe 1TB(1000GB) CRUCIAL P1
Noteworthy is the PSU is 750w, while I previously assumed it was 800w, but it should still suffice.
I spent a considerable amount of time (about 1 hour and 20 minutes), but the game didn't crash this time. The log details are here: https://www.udrop.com/5gkn/log2.CSV. A negative point is that it becomes quite hot, reaching up to 70°C in Path of Exile, which didn't occur during underclocking.
Begin by testing the RAM at 2933 or 3200MHz to check for post. If successful, proceed with Memtest86 to verify stability. If stable, boot into Windows, run Userbenchmark again, and report the outcomes.
