I've been an enthusiast of tech for a while now, and I decided to play some games. I have just finished the BF4 campaign, and I needed to play some multiplayer. However, all day I have been able to join a server, start to play, and end up getting kicked 30 seconds in. Battlelog says it is because the server is full. But when I joined, ten players still had to get in. I really don't know what is happening and this is getting frustrating. Any help? Also, I hate using Battlelog, is there a mode that the launcher is not browser based? Because that would be much appreciated. Again, all and any help appreciated.

It seems you're wondering if the update was installed and if the patch released today is available for use.

You need a battle log to play, though it’s not overly difficult. A different launcher would work almost like this, just as a windowed version. It functions well. Keep your battle log current. There’s also a recognized punk buster problem. Too many exceptions are being allowed inside the windows firewall. Open the firewall, scroll down under exceptions, and find punk buster A and punk buster B. Delete all of them except one from each list. Then check the clock and confirm they’re configured properly (you’ll need to know which option is correct). This should fix any connection issues.

Likely by right-clicking on bf4 in the origin.

Open BF4 in Origin, look for updates—make sure the tile appears orange and click to update. Also verify the browser extension (PBSETUP.exe) and check for any newer versions of Punkbuster if needed.

Both versions have been revised. The same problem remains.

So game has an update but doesn't do it automatically, instead let's u connect to a server and not tel u about the patch whatsoever ?! That sounds dumb.

It updates automatically, though its background and the situation on the field could affect that.

It's common for games or software to update automatically upon login. With Battlelog, they verify this by alerting users about outdated versions that aren't supported. However, sometimes patches don't install during DLC releases, especially when updates are delayed.
