Hello everyone, I’m experiencing a message saying my CPU is below the minimum requirements when playing Watch Dogs 2 on my laptop. The game runs fine otherwise, though it occasionally crashes. I’ve reduced the settings to fix it, but I’m wondering if I can still play on Ultra. This issue seems to appear only on my laptop and not on my desktop. It’s strange since my system specs are decent—should be able to run it smoothly. Anyone have any insights or solutions? Also, a Ryzen 7 4800H is likely better than an Intel 2700X.

It seems uncertain about the exact CPU, which isn’t too unexpected. Or maybe the laptop is definitely faulty. Just brush it off.

It might happen because the laptop CPU occasionally slows down, and Watch dogs could flag it as not meeting the game requirements. Since you haven’t played the game, I can’t confirm. Have you adjusted the minimum CPU speed to 100% in Windows Power Settings?
