Following my hard drive failure, I completely reinstalled my operating system. It functioned correctly on both x86 and my prior x64 setup, but now the game frequently crashes either when initiating it or upon encountering an autosave alert. I’ve attempted to apply patches, obtained alternative versions of dirt2.exe, and even utilized a fabricated xlive.dll to bypass GFWL – all without success. A no-CD patch also failed to resolve the issue.
Dirt 3 is running perfectly for me; it functions as expected.
