Yes, and?? BF5 relies on Origin. Forza uses M$ Store BF5 is Multi-Platform Forza mainly runs on XBox and also works on PC. BF5 could be built with an older engine that doesn't support modern instructions. Forza is heavily optimized for XBox One and may use SSE4.2, which your CPU might not have. Your argument doesn't hold up. You should check the minimum requirements and stop complaining when things don't work. A few years ago, people would have been laughed at for bringing a 10-year-old CPU. Back then, a 10-year-old CPU meant a Pentium, and the 200MHz Pentium was just launched in June 1996! Now you're discussing an 11-year-old CPU that won't run software released 11 years later... Eventually, you'll need to upgrade and discard your device, and that seems to be coming up soon.
I don’t understand your source for this data. Forza might be a franchise with roots in Xbox, but the truth is, starting with Battlefield 4 they’ve consistently used Frostbite 3, alongside numerous EA titles from that era. Each game varies in stability, which depends on the developer. Frostbite, Unreal Engine, CryEngine, and Unity are all designed for PC and perform best there. PCs offer adjustable settings to help slower systems run smoothly—typically, consoles handle everything better. Battlefield V and Forza 4 share similar core code structures, just like FIFA, Madden, Battlefront, and others. My setup includes an i5 6600k CPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, four SSDs in RAID 0, an Nvidia 1080 GTX capable of 4K at 30-120fps, and Frostbite runs without issues since the last Forza update. Microsoft’s DRM is fully active.
Where did you obtain this information? The developers discussed the Turn10 engine. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digit...za-horizon Different games require unique features, so an engine designed for shooters needs significant adjustments to fit a racing game, almost like transforming it into a racing platform. Because Playground focuses on Forza titles and Turn10 caters to the Motorsport series, using their own engine seems logical, particularly given its prominence as one of the top Xbox games.
I managed to resolve the issue. However, I'm uncertain if it will work for you too. My main concern was adjusting my sound settings. I bought Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio on my PC headphones and usually had it enabled automatically. But when I disabled it and used the default settings, the game functioned properly. Perhaps you should review your own sound preferences. This issue also seems common among others. I'm attempting to see if it can help me as well, but so far no success has been achieved.
