Heres a wierd one.. For some reason once in a while, when i go too boot up a game, it boots and runs no problem but for some reason the screen stays black then the picture will show for a second or two then go black and continue to happen. Sound works fine, no stutter noises and the game doesn't crash. I reinstalled my drivers and nothing is overclocked. Not sure why it keep happening to be honest but i have to reboot my computer every time and it then it work. Anyone have a similar issue or have a possible thought as to why its happening?
Hi there! Are you looking for information about your GPU type, whether it's an AMD card or an RTX 30 series model? Also, do you know the monitor brand and the cable connection you're using?
It seems someone else faced the same problem with another 3060 last week. If your device has multiple DisplayPorts, consider using a different one. You might also try connecting it to a display via HDMI or DVI—though newer GPUs may not support those ports.
I haven’t tried HDMI yet—it’s a good plan. I was wondering if it might actually be the DP cable. It makes me question why the computer doesn’t work after resetting. I’ve also noticed my CPU handles a lot of the graphics load during boot, could that be causing the issue?
Refers to the processor handling heavy graphics tasks during initialization. Boot time may increase due to launching background applications.
sorry should have been more specific. it seems like it prioritizes the cpu integrated graphics before switching the load over too GPU. Not sure if this is true but just have been researching trying to see possible issues . Also when i ment boot, i ment like that boot of a game not the actual computer.
Card purchased brand new roughly three months ago, used continuously since then. Tested under full power on Heaven and maintained stable temperatures between 68-69°C. Previously experienced odd artifacts before updating drivers, which resolved the issue. Currently, only the chipset driver is installed. Also checked that the Vision 3060ti supports DP 1.4 with the cable I’m using being 1.2... Any thoughts?
