Hello,
I’m currently experiencing issues while playing New World, which leads to random crashes and a PC restart. All screens go black, the fans spin at full speed, and the system restarts immediately. Initially, I could play without problems, but crashes only occurred during zerg farming chests. Now even loading screens fail, and the game or PC crashes instantly when I select a character.

Hardware details:
CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
GPU: Aorus 2080 TI Xtreme
MB: Aorus X570 Xtreme
RAM: 2x 16GB G.Skill TridentZ Neo (3600MHz)
PSU: be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER 11 CM 750W (bought in January 2020)

I tried several fixes:
- Uninstalled GPU drivers using DDU
- Updated chipset drivers
- Updated BIOS
- Ran memory tests with memtest86 (no errors)
- Removed the vertical GPU mount, suspecting a cable defect
- Uninstalled and re-downloaded the game
- Tested GPU with FurMark (2 hours without crash)

I’m unsure whether the game crashes before the PC restarts or vice versa. Could the PSU be faulty?

The game behaves strangely with systems, previously causing GPU issues; it's unclear if a solution exists yet.
If the system fails only when running that specific game, it likely relates to the game code and its interaction with drivers rather than the card or power supply.

So I just set up MSI Afterburner and reduced the power limit to 70%.
The game runs properly now...
Could someone clarify what this means?
Am I dealing with a faulty GPU or a defective PSU?
