Hi, your setup seems to be working fine. The AW2721D G-Sync monitor supports plug-in mode, and you should be able to enable G-Sync through the display settings or software without needing the Nvidia Control Panel. Check your monitor's menu for G-Sync options or try adjusting the display settings directly. If issues persist, let me know!

What Windows driver version are you using? The standard one doesn’t include this feature, so I had to download the newest version from NVIDIA to enable it.
