The FX-8320 reaches 4.5 ghz—choose EVO 212 or opt for H100i?
Hi, I recently reached a stable OC of 4.5 ghz @1.4v with my FX-8320 on the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. I'm running a CM EVO 212 as my CPU cooler (adjusting fan speeds via SIV). My idle temps sit between 31-32°C on cool days, averaging 34-36°C; during games it's usually in the low 50s, though I occasionally hit over 56°C. This is the ideal range to maintain longevity. Should I keep using the EVO or consider upgrading to an H100i? One benefit would be gaining more usable RAM slots.
