Details: CPU model R5 7600, RAM 32GB DDR5 6000MHz EXPO (Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB, CL30-36-36-76), MOBO MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI PSU. Be quiet! Pure Power 11 700W SSD, Crucial P5 Plus 2TB GPU not critical, never plugged in. First build was perfect – tried powering it on, only received red and yellow EZ Debug LEDs for CPU and RAM respectively. Experimented with various RAM setups, different slots, no sticks at all, still same LED signals. Removed CMOS battery and reinserted, but no improvement. Concluded CPU likely faulty. Returned the CPU and received a replacement. Didn't even think about BIOS flash at this stage, as the board supports AM5 (non X3D), so I expected it to work out of the box. Second build, same setup, only swapped CPU. Issue persisted. Friend attempted BIOS flashing: used 5 USBs, all FAT32 formatted, only MSI.ROM present, correct BIOS slot, none succeeded. Light flashed and then stopped after a few seconds. Now we suspect a hardware problem with the motherboard. Progress today: new board arrived. Friend built a quick test setup with just CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1 connected, installed CPU and RAM, tried powering it up – same red and yellow LEDs. Re-flashed BIOS multiple times, light flashed briefly then stopped. Idea: suggest a different motherboard we found at a similar price, Asrock B650 PG Lightning. Really confused about next steps – if it doesn't work here, what else should I try? Need advice. Thanks.

Corsair vengeance lpx often encounters problems with Ryzen processors. Verify if you can locate a QVL for confirmed compatible RAM and purchase one of the approved kits. If no suitable QVL exists, g.skill works well with Ryzen.
I've experienced some seriously poor fortune with Corsair Vengeance LPX. Plus, according to @Whatisthis, CV LPX doesn't work well with Ryzen, and I've actually had DOA sticks on at least two occasions.
Hey team, I think we should check the RAM next. I’m planning to buy the g.skill Trident Z5, but I’m worried the motherboard might get damaged from all the failed BIOS attempts. I’ll update this post once we see it running smoothly in a few weeks. To be honest, I’m worried about suggesting Ryzen now since my friend bought the initial components in mid-November. Is this the Ryzen lineup? I’m really nervous about recommending it right now.
