Hello, your friend recently installed a new SSD for his PC and used the Windows 10 setup tool to create a bootable USB. When he tries to install Windows, he reaches the setup screen and enters his product key, but then encounters an error code 0x8007025D with a message about missing files. He’s open to advice and is currently on a Discord call to help troubleshoot.

We determined he purchased a PNY drive known for failing as bootable USBs. I had him replace it with a fresh one, and it functioned properly.
