You're not getting the expected performance with your new 4070 Super. It seems your setup isn't optimized for the game's demands. Check your settings, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date, and consider lowering your resolution or adjusting in-game performance options. If the issue persists, you might need to upgrade your GPU or check for system resource conflicts.

I changed my GPU model and verified uninstalling the old driver before adding the new one. Also, I checked for updates on the 4070 drivers.

You didn't make any changes to a driver, so no action needed.

CPU usage probably constrained, though uncertain since finding complete info on YouTube is difficult. Edited January 16, 2025 by thekingofmonks

A good criterion would depend on the goal, but it should measure relevance, accuracy, and usefulness effectively.

Typically for 1080p, the 4070 series works well with at least an R5 7600 CPU. However, since you're using AM4, it's more practical to choose the 5700X3D instead of buying a new board. Updated January 16, 2025 by thekingofmonks

This could resolve your problem. I own a 4080 with twelve 7 5800X graphics cards, and I run every game at over 100 FPS.
