The game experiences frame rate fluctuations, often dropping below 60 with occasional spikes up to 120. This causes jarring lag and a degraded performance experience. My system includes a GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, an Intel Core i7-8700 processor, and 32GB of G Skill RAM clocked at 3200MHz.

I am experiencing a similar issue, as I possess comparatively reduced processing capabilities with an i5-7600k and a GTX 1070. Previously, I was consistently able to operate Minecraft at frame rates of 300-400 easily, primarily within the version 1.14.2. Presently, when initiating the game, my computer encounters noticeable lag lasting approximately ten seconds before attempting to boot up, and my CPU temperature rises to 90-100%. Any attempts to maximize performance result in constant frame rates of only 11fps. This situation is perplexing, considering that both our computers are capable of running Minecraft, yet they fail to operate correctly.

Disabling NVIDIA Share within the system settings resolved the issue I was experiencing with the game.
