I’m using an i7-11700k and a 3080 both with solid water cooling. The setup includes 32GB RAM, NVMe M.2 storage, a 2560x1440 monitor at 165Hz, and I usually hit 100–120FPS depending on the game. CPU usage stays between 30–60%. I’ve lowered all settings to low in games without affecting frame rate, and switching resolutions didn’t help. Some people think my CPU might be limiting performance. Are there other factors you should check?

It's typical for Warzone. The environment is dynamic, with lots of players, vehicles, and a big map, which makes consistent testing challenging.

I usually match your view, but some users say they moved from Intel to AMD 5900X and saw their frame rate jump from 100 to 170 frames per second.

They were full of nonsense. They’re completely dishonest unless they upgraded from an older i3/i5 4000 series CPU to the current setup. Setting up a new system with a fresh Windows install, updated drivers, and fewer programs running usually improves performance. It’s mostly about the existing configurations and the GPU being used or upgraded. A CPU can significantly impact performance only if it was severely mismatched.
