Hey everyone, I just got a 5080 founders edition for the MSRP. I was really looking forward to installing it, but when I started the first game, I noticed the card produces a lot more coil whine than any other car I've owned. I know coil whine is normal, but it's still audible over my speakers unless they're turned up quite high. I've tried using under voting, which helps a bit, but it's still noticeable. The only solution is to wear headphones. I'm upgrading from a 5070 TI and it’s making me think about going back to that model. I linked a video below for more details.

Coil whine that is more than slight or moderate is a common issue most graphics card makers face. I would consider returning the product or reaching out to Nvidia to report the problem and request a replacement. No one should have to strain their ears to ignore such noise.
