I tried to set up a few programs but they show up in extremely tiny fonts that are hard to read. Microsoft doesn’t offer any help on this issue. I haven’t discovered a fix yet; there seem to be two similar solutions, but none of them work for me. The issue appears widespread, yet most answers don’t make much sense to me. It seems there might be a workaround, but changing the DPI or resolution makes everything else huge and still unreadable. I’m hoping someone here can provide an answer so I don’t have to give up on these programs.

Check the current resolution you're using on your display.

This discussion was originally placed in the Windows 7 area but you indicated support for Windows 11. Are you working with a virtual machine for Windows or are you asking about Windows 11 in general?
If it's Windows 11, adjusting your font size is possible by navigating to
Start
> Settings
> Accessibility (left-hand navigation pane)
> Text Size
Additionally, scaling options are available under
Related settings (just below Text Size)
And you can find them in the Display settings.

Posted in w11, but ended up in w7. Scaling isn't working. Apologies for the inconvenience.

3840x2160 scaling functions worldwide, I've discovered. I'll attempt a reinstall to check the outcome.
