I opened my PC this morning and noticed several pop-ups when logging into Windows, especially after launching certain applications. The same issue appeared in Chrome. I suspect it’s related to apps accessing the internet, though services like Steam don’t trigger these alerts. This has been happening for a few days now, every time I power on or wake my system. I’m using the latest Windows 10 version and haven’t adjusted any settings recently. Anyone else encounter this problem? Thanks.

Access the Control Panel. Select Windows Firewall. If it’s active, the status will show as On. To disable it, go to the left navigation pane and choose Turn Windows Firewall on or off. In the Customize Settings window, pick Turn off Windows Firewall and click OK. Add another firewall service.

Open Control Panel, then System and Security, followed by Windows Firewall. See if the apps causing pop-ups appear on the correct side.
