I’m working with shared folders from a VM on the network where everyone should have full access. When I manually type the path, it doesn’t appear in the discovery list. The problem isn’t unusual, but some applications can’t save or read files even when I enter the location correctly. I’ve tried all file-sharing services on Google, reset the machine, turned off the firewall, added exceptions, and confirmed sharing works across network types. However, other VMs still face issues with the same settings. I’m unsure what to do next and would appreciate any guidance.
