Hey there, I encountered a problem with my Dell laptop. After fixing an issue and accidentally switching the setup to diagnostic startup, I restarted it but couldn't log in. I looked online for fixes and found several suggestions, including using recovery mode, running Hive or activating Utliman.exe. I tried accessing C: drive but it wouldn't open. I also attempted to format the C drive and restart, but after the restart I saw an error saying "file not found" when trying to open it. I spent nearly 12 hours working on this since 2024-11-30. Help needed!

You're really struggling, aren't you? If you need to save your files, don't try to format the hard drive—it will wipe everything. Since you're already in trouble, just reinstall Windows.

To be truthful, I don’t really pay attention to the files—I just want the laptop to function normally.

You only have the option to reinstall Windows now. You'll require a USB installer.

You could purchase it affordably. If you've already set up the C drive, most of your old Windows is gone. With a Microsoft account, you can log in right after reinstalling Windows and it should restore your previous settings.
