Hello. It seems you might want some experts to assist with your problem. You have two GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLi, 16GB RAM, and a 4790k OC to 4.7GHz. The crash occurs when using either the NVIDIA Shadow options (PCSS or HFTS). If it doesn’t happen, everything works normally. Anyone familiar with this issue could help?

Sli is uncertain to mention, but here are some actions you might consider: *Repair game files*, *Update drivers*, *Attempt to turn off one card and observe the change*

Consensus is that SLI and crossfire problems often arise. Try using a single GPU and see if your settings work the same as with two GPUs.

I'm not sure if the problem is connected, but for me the division crashes to the desktop without any error using the latest NVIDIA drivers 376.XX+ definitely. I haven't used any of the 375.XX drivers; I don't have them available. Another game only works with 373.XX drivers (the same crash happens there too), which is why I keep those ready to switch between.

Thanks for the ideas. It seems disabling SLi let me choose the Nvidia shadow settings without causing crashes. The unusual part is that once I turned SLi back on, the game stopped crashing.
