This problem seems to have started more than a week ago, though I’m not sure. The file explorer works fine for about four hours of PC use before it stops loading anything. It also prevents me from opening the file explorer from other applications. For instance, when trying to attach a file in Google Chrome, the pop-up explorer freezes and I can’t search or attach files. I’ve tried fixing it by restarting my computer each time, but I’m unsure if it’s due to a new Windows update or something with my PC. I’d appreciate an explanation and a solution if possible. It’s been bothering me for a while.

The system shows an account disconnection message at the top. This could indicate a loss of connection or an issue needing attention.

Does the same occur with Edge? Does Chrome become sluggish? I’ve faced a similar problem and resolved it by disabling all non-Windows services and reactivating only what I required. It worked for me.

Try these actions one by one to observe the effect.

The message is unclear about the connection issue. It mentions four users on your PC but doesn’t explain why it’s showing this. You seem unsure about add-ons and whether they’re relevant to the problem.

I don’t have any extra features and there are no real network problems affecting the file explorer. Another friend is experiencing the same problem, but I’m unsure why it’s happening to them.
