You’ve got the extra HDD installed, cables are working, but the fan spins aren’t turning, the fans’ indicator stays off, and the motherboard is flashing red. The PC boots and shows display output. What could be causing this issue?

The BIOS update should resolve the issue of the cables moving in the case? That seems unlikely. How can damaging a BIOS happen by simply wiggling the cables? What steps are needed to harm the BIOS through this method? Turning off as many fans as possible and replacing the faulty ones might help. Check if the remaining fans spin when you restart. Do you require additional fans besides the CPU fan? Connect them directly to the mainboard's fan ports. If they don’t spin and the system fails, the fault likely lies elsewhere—possibly on the motherboard itself or power supply.
Keep updating bios, I'm more focused on whether they notice the fans.
Thanks for the assistance and the advice you shared. I managed to resolve the issue by testing different setups. After connecting extra fans directly to the motherboard, which functioned well, I tried using a fan-hub in another system without problems. However, when I reattached it to my original setup, the power cable appeared faulty. Changing that cable from the power supply fixed the issue. Appreciate all the support! Have a great day!
