The extension caused a failure in Linux.

I recently added an extension to improve window transitions, but it caused a system crash. I can’t see any windows now, and the interface feels distorted. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this?

You seem unfamiliar with Linux, but it’s a smart move to clarify what you’ve installed. It’s also a good time to begin setting up system restore backups using tools like Timeshift.

There may be several options available, and you can likely find a folder containing the relevant extensions to remove when booting from an ISO.

Have you attempted using Ctrl+Alt+F1 or F2 to access the text console? You might find it helpful to remove or uninstall extensions there. From the screenshot, it seems this is likely running Linux Mint. What desktop environment are you currently using?

I’m about to experiment with cinnamon. You’ll need to know which commands are available, especially for handling extensions via the terminal.

Cinnamon Spices refers to placing a file extension into that folder. Removing it from there will delete it too.
