I connected cables from From PSU, added another brand cable, and used it for three years before it got damaged in the pin between PSU and motherboard.
Are both the motherboard and PSU damaged? If only the cable from the PSU to the motherboard extension is burnt.
Yeah, I just figured it out. Anyway, is my motherboard and power supply unit damaged? Even if the wires between them got burned?
Is the PC still functioning, not that I'm asking you to restart it with the damaged cable. I would remove the extension and check the power supply not connected to the motherboard using a volt meter.
I would prefer if I could just disconnect the power supply and swap it out, then test the system without any issues.
