I no longer feel excited about games and haven’t felt that way for a while. I just wait for a new release and then assess it, if it’s great, that’s when I get really pumped. When it comes to Ubisoft, they haven’t had a strong track record lately, especially in 2014. I don’t believe the issue lies with individual development teams; rather, it seems to be a problem with Ubisoft itself, as a big publisher, not providing enough time for developers to create games and engaging in misleading marketing tactics to build hype.
