the evga precision xoc maintains reset settings
so i just changed to evga precision x from afterburner since i heard afterburned can cause gpu drivers to crash often, which has happened to me. after switching to precision x all these problems stopped, but my old precision x was still installed on my pc. once everything was configured properly, it asked if i wanted to download the latest version, which was the newest xoc release—not the regular precision x. after doing that now, none of my settings are saving except for the overclocked one. any changes made in the precision xoc menu for the osd or telling it to start with windows don’t save after a restart. i can’t find a solution anywhere and have tried various versions. it worked perfectly on the regular precision x.
I've given up on Evga's precision XOC. A lot of bugs from the start. I switched back to M-Series Afterburner because I couldn't handle the long list of things I disliked about it. I actually sent a detailed list of issues to the product manager/dev team on the forum, but never got a response.
🙁
However, he did answer my tweets!

I was really frustrated when I entered it.

Any overclocking I do on the M-Series Afterburner seems to cause my display drivers to crash for a few minutes during gameplay. That's annoying. I don't have any issues with the precision X version.
I managed to locate an older version of precision X. The previous X version isn't the XOC model and it works, but I don't have the OSD option even though I have a revit tuner. Urg!
