Other Devices appears in the Device Manager when Windows detects a connected hardware but lacks a compatible driver. If you don’t see it listed, it means the network card isn’t properly recognized by the system.

It's confusing. I took out the card, but the BIOS says it's still active while Windows doesn't show it. No drivers are working either. Installing an Ethernet card seems to mess everything up. From the picture I sent, I see those VMnet adapters showing up, but I don’t know what they are. Also, I tried resetting all internet connections with a network reset, but that didn’t help.

Interesting observation: I disconnected the second GPU from the board, restarted it, and both cards worked again. Even when the PC was unplugged from the wall and restarted, I still had internet access. I’m really confused.

Sure, I can help with that. Would you like me to guide you through disabling or removing those virtual adapters step by step?

Hey, which ports did the NICs and GPU connect to? Also, do you have a M.2 SSD available? It seems like there might be an issue with the PCI_e lanes.

RTX 2060 paired with GTX 670. No M.2 SSDs, just four solid-state drives and one 240GB SSD. Also includes a CD drive.

Apologies for the delay in replying; we confirmed it was a PCI lane problem. The GPU can be placed in the slot without power connectors and still won’t work.

I opened your guide and saw the PCI_e configuration: PCI_E1, PCIe 3.0 x16 for the CPU, PCI_E2, PCIe 3.0 x1 for the PCH, PCI_E3, PCIe 3.0 x8 for the CPU, PCI_E4, PCIe 3.0 x1 for the PCH, and PCI_E5 through PCI_E4 each with PCIe 3.0 x4 for the PCH. You mentioned you don’t have one, so it’s not a problem. What processor are you using? I believe Intel typically uses the same lane count on LGA1200, though I’m not certain. It seems like your chipset is handling too many devices, which might be causing some issues due to insufficient lanes.

This chip comes with just 16 PCI_e lanes, which is the limit of what your two GPUs can handle. That means the rest of the workload is managed by the chipset, and it seems there aren't enough connections available for all your peripherals... If you connect both GPUs, do you have another slot to try a second network card? If you're lucky, that might be possible.
