has anyone else experienced Epic Games not launching properly? After installing, it would flash and then close without showing up in Task Manager. I just restarted the PC but kept the files from installation, thinking there was a corruption. Now I feel like my Epic games are damaged, can't install or run them, and everything else is broken. I regret resetting everything and lost all my data without a clear reason.

It was really intense when it happened on my C drive. After a fresh restore, I checked my files and thought there was a system32 issue, but then realized my new CPU isn’t working properly. I was using my old one, expecting the AIO to function, but my PC still shut down with the stock cooler. Installing a new CPU didn’t fix the problem—it’s now running on my original CPU. All my game files and online installs are missing; only my desktop documents remain. The appdata files I edited for GMS are gone too, and I can’t access the old cache or files.
Hello, also I just installed an NVMe SSD, but I only have one M.2 slot. I still use my old ASRock B450 M Pro 4, but I’ve connected a PCIe M.2 adapter and everything is working fine. The game runs smoothly with Call of Duty, though I’m not sure if it might have affected anything. I’m open to reinstalling Windows completely if you have any tips on how to save all my files properly so I don’t lose anything. I just want to back up my music, notes, and recordings.
