Hi there, today I checked the performance of my NVMe (Samsung 980 500GB Non Pro) after formatting and installing version 23H2. The tests seem to ignore BitLocker encryption, behaving like hardware encryption instead. See the images here: https://imgur.com/a/3fsnW71 and the link below: https://imgur.com/a/3fsnW71.
I found a discussion about this issue on the same disk I own, discussing how BitLocker encryption significantly affects performance.

possibly updating the SSD firmware helped reduce speed loss
enhanced BitLocker setup in Windows
refined drivers
upgraded motherboard BIOS
