You're dealing with a tricky setup issue. It sounds like your main screen froze after switching monitors, and after rebooting both drives vanished from the system. The fact that only the main screen was affected suggests a problem with the display or power routing. Since your NVMe drive worked fine in BIOS, it points to a potential driver or firmware issue. Trying SATA cable changes and checkpoint recovery didn't help much. Shutting down Windows with the Shift key pressed seems to restore everything. This could be related to driver conflicts, power management settings, or even a corrupted bootloader. Checking for updated drivers, testing with different cables, and ensuring proper power delivery might resolve it.

Turn off Windows settings to prevent the computer from entering a sleep state instead of shutting it down.

It looks like disabling fastboot in Windows made a difference, though I need to run some more tests. Thanks for the heads up!

This suggests the system might have stored some damaged information during a previous failure, causing it to fail after a restart. A fresh installation could have resolved the problem. If this applies to Windows, a clean reinstall might have been the best solution. Apologies for the detailed explanation.

It means the hybrid hibernation feature has been disabled via fastboot. Your device will power down automatically when turned off; otherwise, you must restart it to restore uptime and refresh the drivers.
