Hi everyone. I recently purchased a new system and installed it today. However, when it starts up, there is no display visible. The other parts like the fan and GPU seem to be functioning properly. Could you assist in resolving this issue?
I would remove 2 memory sticks and try once more. There are also specific slots the motherboard likes when using just 2 sticks.
Purchasing two kits of memory with 2 sticks each isn't the same as buying a kit with 4 matched sticks. Even though the part numbers match, the memory sticks themselves differ.
Additionally, you have other problems. The memory kit you bought appears on the ASUS list but isn't a set of 4, even if you bought them. The only 4x32 kit available is from Kingston and only supports 5200.
It should work with two sticks. I would definitely try both kits. You might consider using just one stick of memory.
In most cases, any DDR5 memory will run at the slowest speeds when the system uses it. The issue usually arises when attempting to operate them at their higher rated speeds.
It’s unlikely that all your memory is faulty. You may start wondering if the CPU or motherboard is the problem.
This can also happen if the cooler isn’t applying enough pressure to the CPU chip.
These problems are quite difficult to detect without having spare parts for testing.
You could take out the cooler and CPU, then check the socket for bent pins.
After that, it’s likely the memory controller on the CPU or the motherboard is the cause.
It means the GPU is overheating and likely needs immediate attention to prevent damage. The absence of the RGB light suggests a power issue or hardware malfunction.
It appears the led number feature shows the current codes, updates during booting, and remains consistent if the system freezes. You can find more details in the asus manual for clarity.
