Hey everyone, recently while playing games on my PC, everything froze unexpectedly. I shut it down and then turned it back on. When I booted up again, a red light appeared inside the case. Opening it revealed the DRAM light was lighting up during startup. I removed the RAM and checked which ones were faulty, but even without any RAM, the DRAM and CPU lights stayed on. On startup, the CPU light flashed for about a second before the DRAM light remained lit. I’ve tried swapping RAM and moving it around, as well as resetting the CMOS, but nothing seems to work. Also, during boot, there’s no display and the mouse and keyboard don’t respond.
Until you can get something on the screen, you're stuck. If your CPU includes an integrated GPU, try connecting the monitor to the mobo rear panel video output, after unplugging your PCIe graphics card (assuming you have one). Resetting the BIOS can change the priority of internal/external GPUs.
If you can get into the BIOS, make sure that XMP memory overclocking is switched off. Fit one DIMM in A2 or B2 (on a 4-slot board) and keep your fingers crossed when you switch on.
