I attempted to get the driver, though I wasn't sure it would work. Chrome confirmed the file was saved, but didn’t display the usual location tab. The link provided appears to be at the top of the results. I checked winSXS but only found older versions. It’s unclear how to properly download or install these files now.
Thanks, I plan to try it right after this firefight ends... It's interesting I'm currently saving the file on my phone without any problems, unlike on my Windows PC... I think I can install it via the Windows Device Manager, though I'm not sure because I haven't done that before.
It might be better to list your username and downloads folder here. Follow the instructions carefully and save the file by right-clicking and choosing a location. You can extract the contents using 7-Zip, which usually contains an installer. If not, check the Windows Update settings for more details about CAB files. CAB files are essentially compressed archives.
It functioned! (Though not in practice...) In theory... (I’m not sure it actually blocked the first time) Is this Windows Defender stopping a Microsoft file? PS: I recall Nvidia drivers before a specific date were considered unsafe by Microsoft... maybe that’s the reason... still odd.
