When I save or update a game on Steam, it starts very slowly and rarely reaches the speed I expect from my connection. I have 1000Mbps from my provider, but with all my devices connected and possibly a low-quality Ethernet cable from my router to my PC, I only see up to 850Mbps. On Steam downloads, I usually get more than 100MBps, but never beyond 20MBps. I've checked everything—my CPU isn't slowing down file compression, my drives aren't the issue, and even trying both NVME cards didn't help. Changing the region or clearing the cache doesn’t make a difference. Emptying the download cache also doesn’t solve it. I’m running out of options. I tried using Epic Games Launcher, and it instantly reached 105MBps after just a few seconds. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve this? I really don’t want to reinstall Steam yet, but that’s the only solution I’ve considered so far.
