Hey Guys, I own an MSI Sword 15 laptop and my dog chewed through the power cable with a pin connector. Should I request a replacement cable from MSI or replace the whole power brick according to my local dealer?

From my perspective:
1) the cable stays firmly connected to the power brick: this means it's not safe to just disconnect and reattach.
2) the remaining short length of cable is likely insufficient for a proper splice.
3) there could be hidden damage in the brick and cable.
My advice is to swap out the entire power brick and cable.
Make sure your dog didn't chew on any parts of the cable. Are all the cables accounted for?
