Hi, I recently switched my DNS settings to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, but my phone still displays the default ISP DNS (which is not ideal). I made sure to save and reconnect, yet when I go to 1.1.1.1 it shows the router interface instead of the actual DNS web page.

The statement refers to devices receiving the same DNS settings whether they're connected via wired or wireless connections.

Sure, just to clarify, I made sure to rephrase your statement while keeping the meaning intact.

It requires time for DNS configurations to spread. Occasionally it might take a few minutes, half an hour, or even a full day.

It only requires a short time based on DHCP lease durations, though these should be removed after a reboot. When the lease times end, it will apply fresh configurations or until you delete them and force the device to reconnect. No further action needed under Internet Setup below Based Setup?

Unfortunately, I don’t have enough information to identify the router model. Could you provide more details about its appearance or features?

Check the page with DHCP configurations and verify whether DNS entries are included. It seems the settings are limited to the router's internal DNS lookups.
