Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my DNS suffix. It seems like it's pointing to learntotechsolutions.com instead of Alphacerts.com. Could anyone help me figure out what's going on?

Review your PTR records, perform an nslookup for your computer's IP address, and observe the results. Also, consider why you're sharing several DNS suffix lists—this isn't necessary.

The reason for excluding those suffixes is to avoid fully qualifying server or resource names. The Suffix list is meant solely to append to DNS queries without a trailing dot when a result isn't found initially. If a lookup fails, it will cascade through the listed domains. So when nslookup doesn’t resolve it will check next, then the others. Only your actual local Active Directory domain should appear in the list, or you should define DNS zones or forwarders. I recommend running that command and see what actually resolves.
