Someone else has tested the Division Beta. It appears to run smoothly and efficiently. There was one instance of crashing to desktop, but overall the performance is solid. The SLI profile could use improvement. This game might be my first Ubisoft purchase since Might & Magic Legacy. At full settings with Supersampling, NV PCSS+, and shadows enabled, I consistently get 48-90fps, though it varies a lot. G-Sync provides smooth visuals, but others without G-Sync report significant stuttering. Running at 1080p with a GTX 980Ti using Supersampling and PCSS+ off matches the performance of the SLI 980Ti at 1440p. Scaling is present, but the experience isn't great. Screenshots at 1440p are shown below. Note for users with 56K bandwidth.
I'm pushing through at full speed using a 3570 and an HX970. Achieving 60fps with just a few tweaks, not too drastic changes.
It would be more enjoyable in a team setting. The game I got is a child of light, and for a triple A championship it was fc4... it was fine =p
Users are experiencing excellent results across all platforms. The game operates smoothly at 1440p using Nvidia GameWorks settings. Someone with a GTX 680 reported no problems, matching performance to a 760. Likely factors include PC configuration, registry errors, malware, or installation issues. If available, a game repair option should be considered.
