I understand what you mean. Typically, a beta key comes with a USB drive, but Ubisoft seems to be taking an unconventional approach.

Typically when it's MP, map or two with 1-2 game modes, singleplayer starts with the first mission and boss fight, which is essentially the same as what demos showed in the past.

I'm capturing something similar to the crew, roughly the initial or first levels, around 8 hours of content. It's hard to picture Ubisoft doing much else since they're charging for access, which seems reasonable given the cost.
