I'm facing a major problem with The Division 2. I've been playing for several hours without any issues on my high refresh monitor. I didn't restart the PC or do anything, yet the game keeps freezing at 60fps whenever I launch it again. Trying to adjust settings like v-sync, frame limiter, and refresh rate hasn't helped. The only solution so far is using windowed mode. My system specs are 8700k with a 1080ti display and 16GB of 3200MHz RAM. The monitor runs at 1440p with 165Hz. It's really frustrating and makes the game nearly impossible for me to play (first-world problems). I even ran an in-game benchmark, but when fullscreen it locks at 60fps with about 60% GPU usage, then jumps to 100fps when switching to windowed mode by pressing alt+enter. I have no idea how to get the game to run at my native refresh rate.
Use the Nvidia Control Panel or set a frame rate cap of 60 in the game.
