Our IT specialist is unavailable today. A technician encountered an issue where a user could power on the machine, enter their password, but the screen remained black with only the cursor visible. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete had no effect. Occasionally, a pop-up appeared when pressing Shift, and the screen lit up briefly afterward. Another team member is experiencing the same problem. Could you suggest possible solutions?

This occurs occasionally when I connect to a Citrix machine. Typically I use Ctrl+Alt+Del (or the RDP equivalent) to initiate the connection. You'll see the standard screen with Task Manager and additional settings. If clicking Cancel renders the desktop correctly, try pressing Ctrl+Alt+End instead. This method facilitates sending CAD files via RDP.

Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC for a quick start. Navigate to File -> Run New Task and select explorer.exe. Type in the prompt and press enter. Check if it functions properly.
