Hey, I'm having a problem where my GPU suddenly goes black, the fan stops, and when I reboot the driver is missing. After reinstalling it, the issue resurfaces again after connecting an external HDD for 4 minutes. Once I force shut down and restart, the GPU fan doesn't spin properly and the screen stays black. Anyone know what's going on?

Have you checked if resetting the graphics card BIOS works?

Sure, I updated the cable linking the graphics card to the power source and also reinitialized the CMOS battery. I’m not sure which action worked, but I haven’t seen any black screens while playing yet.
